Boise State University & Nagoya Zokei University, May-June 2016
Final placement of my two posters at Nagoya Zokei University.
The summer of 2016, I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Nagoya, Japan for two weeks on a study abroad trip. I traveled with 9 other students and my teacher, John Francis, to hang up our work in a gallery at the art school, Nagoya Zokei University. We all worked with John Francis to decide what work we should bring with us. I decided to create new work based off of an old piece I designed a few years ago—original movie posters for Alfred Hitchcock's movies "Psycho" and "Rear Window." I started with some basic illustrations, scanned them, and then edited in Photoshop. I finished the coloring in Illustrator and then set the type in InDesign.

Below are the original drawings as well as the final files.
This is one of the gallery rooms at NZU. A local student hung up their own work on the windows of the gallery.
