Boise State Graphic Design Department, Graphic Design 3, September–November 2016
For my Graphic Design 3 class, my classmates and I set up a pop-up shop in downtown Boise, Idaho. Other than developing the products, storefront displays, and marketing, we also developed our own website. I and a team of 4 of my other classmates — Mikayla Higley, Matti Turner, Jenny Johnson, and Emily Loewe — collaborated to create the website for our shop.
We made the site through Wordpress plus alternative plug-ins, and we also altered the code to achieve the look we wanted. For the landing page, we had a slider of photography taken by a few of my classmates, then a section with all of the shopping information, our mission statement, and then our footer for links. We also took photos of each designer and added a bio page for everyone. We used an Etsy plug-in for our Shop page which updated with our Etsy account where we sold our products.
